FOX was reporting late last night it'll be Ryan. At least that's what their sources say. Romney is supposed to make it official this morning.
Awesome! Reminds me of McCain/Palin... now I can get excited about voting FOR the ticket and not just against Obama.
Ryan is very sharp. He knows government finance/budgets probably better than any other legislator in Washington.
Too bad it is not Ryan/Romney.
I like the pick, but they need to get to releasing possible candidates for others positions, especially Secretary of State and Secretary of Defense. Unfortunately, they both have the same experience as Obama when it comes to international relations.
I think it'll be Romney-Ryan, a true partnership. Ryan will not be a "yes" man goofy Veep, like Biden. I think Ryan will be VERY active in making domestic fiscal policy, and that will be a good thing for our country. I also think that is precisely why Romney selected him.
Romney is a true businessman, and that means "check your ego at the door" and improve the bottom line. Sam Wyly built his success by surrounding himself with quality and qualified people. Folks like that seek out talent and put them on their team. Good coaches seek out all the talent they can get. They want great assistants and great players. They only care about the team winning!
So, all that to say, I think Romney knows exactly what he has in Ryan.
Or Ryan / Rice. I see a great economic ticket in Romney/Ryan, but a weak foreign policy ticket.
But these are 2 squeaky clean American capitalists who believe in the ideas of the founders, taking on a man who knew not the founding ideas and wants to change America to look like the collapsing European countries. It's a shame this won't be a landslide victory.
Love it! The Independents, Constitutionalist, youth, Christians and Tea Party types as well just got their wish IMHO. Now get Alan West, Condi and Rubio as advisors or cabinet members and we are set.

I can't wait to see the Ryan-Biden debate.
The VP debate, everybody's gonna be watching that. I don't know if ya'll have seen the VP polls but Rubio was running about 34% while Christie, Ryan and Pawlenty were all about 15-16%. I think Rubio would have put Romney over the top especially with the possibility of winning Florida's 27 electoral votes comapred to Wisconsin's 10.
