I fired the thread back up because is was a KD dedicated thread and wanted to post the jpg on leading the nation in TDs and Scoring some place it would stand out.

Sometimes taking a "gamble" on a small school kid works out. This one has.

After watching Dixon play in the high school state championship game, I made the statement that Dixon would be better as a freshman, than Creer was as a senior. Had Dixon played at a big school in Texas, he would have been a 4 or 5 star recruit.

Great call Don. Taking Dixon was far from a gamble for Tech coaches. They recognized the "it" factor Dixon has. Arkansas did too, but thanks to Dixon's great character he stayed true to Tech.
