Any of you guys familiar with the fishing regs/restrictions? I can't find anything specific on the LDWF website so I'm assuming yoyos, juglines and trotlines are legal?

“Towie Barclay of the Glen, Happy to the maids, But never to the men.”
i think they are, just have to have your information on them when you put them out.
So I just label them all Dwayne Woo..., AKA: DFM:icon_wink:
“Towie Barclay of the Glen, Happy to the maids, But never to the men.”
Do not hang ANYTHING on the new channel markers, outside of that and getting too liquored up and diving off of the spillway cage you should be ok...
Ross -
Check www.cpwater.org for alot of the information and current lake level...
BTW - label all yoo-yoos Burl White, Airport Loop
''Don't be a bad dagh..."
Thanks Dwayne. I drove over to Moon's Monday just to scope it out. The deli meats available were ham, bologna, and hogs head cheese. I ate a hogshead cheese/slice of hoop cheese on white bread sandwich with a bag of BBQ pork cracklins. I took it back and had my first meal looking off of the back deck over the lake. Washed it all down with a cold miller's. It was a great day. The neighbors (Gary and Mary Jean) came over and told me Port Au Prince is a pretty good catfish joint.

Thumbs up on Port Au Prince
Guys -
As much as I like it - Port Au Prince is vastly over-rated and over priced...
Drive 10 minutes down 146 & 519 if you want better catfish for half the price -
''Don't be a bad dagh..."
What's the name of that place?
“Towie Barclay of the Glen, Happy to the maids, But never to the men.”
Luigi's in Arcadia...
And if it is lunch time - Sharon's in Arcadia -
The GAP has ok fish, but not comparable to those two
''Don't be a bad dagh..."
Gap farms has a decent steak on Friday night. Luigis is good fish. Arcadia has a new place a few doors down from Luigis that has decent fish called the Depot
Pleasure Point Marina has a decent burger...
Ross - Kel's Kove is the place to frequent for gas, beer, etc. They are REAL GOOD people
''Don't be a bad dagh..."
And nobody pick up any yoyos labeled Burl White. Those jokers are priced like gold now. I'll be around to pick them up in a year or two... soon as we have enough water to float out of upper Airport Loop.
Good old Memorial Gym
Just got back from the lake and the water is arisin! I still can't find any definite regs posted anywhere on labeling yo-yos or trotlines specific to Claiborne. I found Darbonne and Cross, Caddo. ect but no Claiborne. I'm assuming you guys who are regulars or residents know best. What info do I need to put on the yo-yos? Just name and address or name, address, phone #?
