I ran into someone from Ruston at Disney today. I also ran across a female Disney employee who had University of Southern Miss on her name tag. I said I was happy that we, Louisiana Tech, would be joining Southern Miss in CUSA. She said that Southern Miss doesn't expect to be there for very long because they were going to be playing in a playoff game to see who got to move up to a BCS conference and she expected them to win. This sounded outlandish, so I asked her to clarify. Yep, that's what she meant.
I don't think she follows her school's athletic program very closely.
As Dwayne stated there is a lot of "green" color in this conference. There is also a lot of "blue". In another year it may be time to switch back to "red" for Tech.
All the blue is navy except for Tulsa.
Did Texas get bigger? Guess I should watch the news more often.

Yeah it looks like Oklahoma lost a lot of its southern border.
Man! feels great to be at the geographic center of a conference.
