Nobody's telling you not to be happy! I'm happy! But I don't have to be happy at the way loyal supporters like yourself, who have waited 20 YEARS for this, will be treated. And I don't have to like it even if you don't mind it! And I don't have to like half-ass efforts from a lazy-ass administration. I'm not tolerant of it from our athletes, and I'll be damned if I'll accept it from adults who are paid (too) well to do their jobs the way they often do them.

I'm thankful for that and appreciative for all you do. What I do over there, I do for the University and Tech Athletics, to help us get the respect WE deserve, not respect I think I deserve. What is happening tomorrow is what I need. I don't think it's necessary to serve milk and cookies along with the best thing that has happened to us in years. Serving up CUSA happens to be enough for me tomorrow. I can get my own milk and cookies.
