Just saw TNS online front page. There are two photo galleries side-by-side:
1) The ULM water skiing team's national championship team and
2) the LaTech press conference accepting an invitation into C-USA.
If that's not separation, I don't know what is.

I wouldn't say they are the enemy, we need them on our side. They are misguided.
It's not a bad idea to give them "clicks" when they lead with stories about Louisiana Tech. The more clicks they get with Tech headlines, the more likely they'll be to cover Tech.

If you read some of the past comments on the ULM board, you would think that Louisiana Tech pulled the strings of the editors of the News-Star at the expense of ULM. The ULM posters probably think that the News-Star intentionally put the gallery of Tech's CUSA party along side the ULM Water Ski Team in order to diminish the accomplishments of the ski team.
That I understand, I would like to avoid the front page and any other unnecessary clicks that they can benefit from.
Sometimes we complicate matters. If you feel like looking at the page go look at it.
It's time to close the doors to the Temple of Janus.
