As I posted elsewhere, if we're in opposite divisions, I see Tech and USM hooking up in the conference title game ever so often! Yeah....I said it. It ain't boasting if you can back it up.

Absolutely! Bronze outlines of both states, separated by the MS River, on a walnut base with appropriate school mascots located at Ruston and Hattiesburg. And with the historical scores indicated on the base.

Fair enough. From what I could tell from those rivalry trophies that had pics, most had game scores on them. Besides, in another 18 games or so, the series will be tied up....

USM is I think the only historical local rival with previous conference affiliation to have a winning record against us.

If you looked at all series we had against the area teams like the UL-x, Ark St, McNeese, Lamar, etc we have sizable edge.

You are correct, Garddawg. USM is the ONLY the only university in our top 5 all-time historical rivals that we don't have a LOP SIDED advantage over.

We most definitely have to fix that.
