Greetings all New Orleans area alumni and friends. We are trying to gain a little more traction down here and have started a Facebook page. Please help us grow our base down here by liking the page at

Event was great. Smaller turnout than last year — roughly 40 compared with 70-something a year ago — but still happy Tech is finally seeing value in making the haul down here.

Now we're just trying to do our part and get more people engaged.

The bulldog is awesome. The one on Canal Blvd. is my favorite for game watching. Tons of TVs outside and a bigger patio area. Easier to get to, as well.

Maybe the one Uptown, but we try to avoid it. It's too small and gets way too crowded.

Cooter Brown's (please limit your comments) is the preferred bar, though, unfortunately, Fox and Hound is more centrally located and easier to reserve space.
