Did I hear Rush or someone else on talk radio explaining that U.S. based CNN is losing money every day while CNN International is the cash cow? Don’t they pay many, if not all, airports to keep their channel up in the concourses, lounges, and restaurants? Seems to me it’s like feeding your kid a corn dog every day for 15 years and then he doesn’t know what to do when you give him a steak. People who watch, and believe CNN are corn dog lovers so to speak.

CNN also owns CNN International. CNN is owned by TimeWarner (Warner Media), which was bought a couple of years ago by AT&T for around 85 billion. CNN International loses about 10 million a year. Trump did his best to block T’s acquisition of TWX, because he and Rupert Murdoch scratch each other’s swampasses.
Everyone should have been against AT&Ts purchase of Time Warner.

And remember that Trump supported the Fox Disney deal at the same time.
The companies that control the infrastructure shouldn't also control the creation and distribution of content.
And though I have a bias, Disney getting Fox was bad, too.
We are close to, if not already passing, United States v. Paramount.
AT&T was just responding competitively to Netflix, Amazon, Apple and Google.
The nature of how we obtain content and the potential market power that any content distributor/creator has over preventing competition has changed radically since Paramount. Would have been different even 10 years ago before streaming, but we are entering in a world where consumers can easily have (and most likely will have) multiple subscription sources instead of relying on a single cable or satellite provider.
Unfortunately they are global and spread their PC and socialist lies world wide. When you travel international one gets ill seeing them spew their hatred of America and all that is Godly and good.
Great place for this tidbit as CNN,Gannett and MSNBC have so very few real journalist IMHO. Place they recently fired and let a ton of these go
as their polling lagged FOX.
Journalism Job Cuts Haven't Been This Bad Since Recession...
(Bloomberg) -- The news business is on pace for its worst job losses in a decade as about 3,000 people have been laid off or been offered buyouts in the first five months of this year.
The cuts have been widespread. Newspapers owned by Gannett and McClatchy, digital media companies like BuzzFeed and Vice Media, and the cable news channel CNN have all shed employees.
FoxNews has had to cut quite a few employees, too, but that was because they were sexually harassing folks.
