CNN VIEWERSHIP COLLAPSE...
CNN's prime-time ratings dropped a whopping 26 percent in April compared to last year, according to Nielsen Media Research.
MSNBC's ratings were down 14 percent in April 2019 compared to April 2018, while Fox News's ratings overall were flat.
The sharp decrease for CNN marked its lowest-rated month in total viewers since October 2015.
In the 25- to 54-year-old demographic that advertisers covet most, it was the network's least-watched month since Aug. 2015.
In prime time, Fox News finished first with an average of 2.4 million viewers. In April 2018, the network also averaged 2.4 million viewers, according to Nielsen.

Don Lemon tries to bait the Pastor's of the two Louisiana churches that were burned due to arson. Pastor's didn't take the bait.. didn't work out as Don and CNN had hoped.
quote:
Two pastors whose historically black churches were burned down spoke with CNN’s Don Lemon about Vice President Mike Pence’s Friday visit and the Trump administration’s response.
Rev. Gerald Toussaint of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and Rev. Harry Richard of Greater Union Baptist Church both sat down with Lemon Friday night. Their churches were burned in hate-motivated arsons allegedly committed by the son of a local sheriff’s deputy.
Instead of being critical, the reverends praised both Pence and the administration’s response to the tragedy.quote:So Lemon tried to bait them:
“Today the vice president visited the site and your church,” Lemon said. “How do you feel about support you’ve received from the Trump White House?” “It’s satisfying and it’s uplifting,” Toussaint responded. While the pastor said they were “concerned” at first, he told Lemon they are “reassured right now because of the reaction that we’re getting, especially the visit of Vice President Mike Pence.” “I’m encouraged right now because of the reaction of the country,” he said. “The country has been so supportive. And for us because we didn’t know what we were going to do during — after the fire. We didn’t know what reaction we were going to have but now I’m so encouraged right now and I’m so elated about the reaction that they had … The people that gave, the people that supported us. I can only be just joyful.”
Lemon noted “criticism” the president has received for not speaking sooner.
“Some people thought it was a little too late, but it’s good now that the administration has acknowledged it,” he said. “And do you think that they’re going to help? Do you feel satisfied with this?”
The response
quote:
“Well, I’m optimistic, Don,” Richard answered. “I feel like after this tragedy the country is coming together. I appreciate the fact that Mr. Trump did acknowledge the fact that we had this tragedy down here in Louisiana and I was encouraged today when Mr. Pence came and visited with us. I respect our leadership. One thing I know, Don, that if you’re going to be a leader, you’ve got to acknowledge the suffering of Christ. If that’s where his heart is I believe that we are going to be helped.”

17 hours ago - Layoffs have long been expected at AT&T, which acquired CNN parent company Time Warner, and at HBO, which, like CNN, is part of the newly formed WarnerMedia entity and has also offered buyouts. According to a third longtime senior producer, CNN employees first received notice of the buyout opportunity in late March.

CNN mired in third place in ratings as Fox News Town Hall soars
I can verify brief sojourns into actual news on CNN. I was is an airport and for some stupid-azz reason the pub had CNN on. During one of their many leftist rants, something happened. Like:
"We interrupt our regular socialist propaganda to bring you this actual news report, a plane has crashed in ________, we'll provide additional details as we get them." Lo and behold, a plane did crash as reported. CNN reporting actual news! I saw it myself!
Ya know, now that I think of it, I was in an airport waiting to board a flight...and a plane had crashed...hmmmm...
CNN's highest rate show is 36th. FOX and even crappy pMSNBC, fill up the top 35 spots.
Another reason CNN's ratings are falling like a rock. They have maybe 5% true journalism at CNN. Even the uneducated left have figured out CNN is nothing more than TASS in Russia or Al Jazeera for the Islamics.

Trump gets glowing reviews from UK media. US news focuses on BabyBlimp & protests instead

Trump gets mostly glowing reviews from UK media, while US coverage focuses on Baby Blimp, protests
By David Montanar
June 5, 2019
While President Trump has received largely positive local coverage of his visit to the United Kingdom, the American media has stayed focused on the negative, Joe Concha said Wednesday on "Fox & Friends."
Concha, of The Hill and WOR radio, said the mainstream media's coverage has been consumed by the protests of Trump's visit, even though the demonstrations "are about a third as large" as last summer.
"All we're seeing, basically, is this Trump Baby Blimp, which is getting more coverage than the O.J. Bronco. I see this thing constantly. ... It's typical of what we've seen with Trump. If it's negative, that's the way we're gonna go," he said.
Concha compared the disparity in the coverage by the British and American media with the Jussie Smollett case, where the Chicago media was presenting a different picture than the national media.
Concha said Trump has come across as a "strong leader" and "competent" in his appearances alongside Prime Minister Theresa May and Queen Elizabeth II.
I feel for those poor Brits when all they have to watch is CNN. They don't get FNC over there, all they get is fake news.
