ESPN Article Likes Regional Approach by C-USA; Quotes Dykes

Andrea Anderson has an article on ESPN.com today (5-31-2012) which takes an interesting look at how Louisiana Tech is taking a sensible approach to creating rivalries and helping its athletes (and coaches) by being in C-USA with regional teams vs. moves being made by other schools in moving into conferences which create the travel problems such as Tech has in the WAC.

    Quotes Coach Dykes extensively.

I really hope in two years we aren't looking at these stories and thinking "but he said college football shouldn't chase the money" if he leaves for a bigger school.

He's 32 wins behind Big Nell in the wins column. He can leave after he wins 33 more.

Don't worry he's coming back to Texas Tech. After Tuberville fails again, Dykes will be the man to fix the problems....more

Just means I'm pulling for the Texas version of Tech to do well enough this year for them to keep Tuberville.
