Anyone have experience with plug in energy saving devices?

These things keep popping up in my social media feed. Are they legit? Anyone ever used them? Seems too good to be true and probably is.

Upon a little reading, total scam as I figured it would be. No way that is feasible.

Only once in a Blue Moon do these devices perform as advertised.

Now them cow magnets on your fuel line, they work every time!
I'm an asshole! What's your excuse?

Not a device, but an event...Becoming empty nesters is the best energy saving tool.

Less hot water, less loads of laundry, less lights being left on, less cooking, less A/C and heat, etc.

Supposedly, it levelizes the current throughout your home to prevent wasted power. This is what your electrical system already does if I understand that correctly. That’s how surges are prevented, I guess. This product has been all over my feed, but I didn’t trust it.

yeah sounds bogus. i don't even know how that could work, unless it's connected to some wifi or z-wave devices to turn them off when not in use.
