In 1971-72 Mitchell was a freshman boys dorm, only one that had AC. It was still a boys dorm in the 74-75 school year too.

Then it was changed to a girls dorm in the fall of 1975.

South Hall is the campus police now, right? It was a girl's dorm in 68-72 and used mainly for overflow when the others were full. The dreaded dorm where no one wanted to be. Close to Wilson Cafeteria, though, so that was a plus assuming you liked the food.

Mitchell was brand new in 1962, only A/C dorm there. Had one TV set in the whole place, down in the basement. Big event of the week in those days was to watch "Combat" at 10:30PM, forget the day, think it was Wednesday.

Nurses Station? I guess we called it the infirmary and it was somewhere near the power station. I think they put some new classroom buildings in that area -- biomed?, prof av?. Haven't been on that street since they added those new buildings.

I was in second floor Mitchell my freshmen year (1969). Hutchinson was also air conditioned. ( I also spent a week in the infirmary my freshmen year. It wasn't bad.)

They need to level the two dorm buildings ASAP. IMHO, of course.
