Yep, school sent out an email asking teachers for leniency for us, but it wasn't officially excused. I still remember that waterfall of water going down the stairs, definitely got to say that there were memories made living in Neilsons last year open.

A lot of folks use the N-C parking lots for parking on gamedays. When we have attendance of 20K+ the lots are full. How much parking is in this plan?

Yeah, like 'em or not. You know the campus will look different w/o N-C towering above the RR tracks.

I remember something like this happening twice in 05-06 school year. Except I don't remember there being any fire. I lived on the 2nd floor in 04 and 05. The poor guys at the west end had their dorm destroyed because of a fire, or fire water line burst....I don't remember. Then I remember maybe a month or two later I heard what was a water fall going down the stairs. Thankfully my roommate and I didn't loose anything but towels, which the university said they would replace, but never did. I love how I hated it so much back then, but looking back now, I'm glad I have those memories. I lived in Hut the next year and loved it before moving off campus.

If they turn that into green space, that would be some good tailgating area.

    That never happened.

Or, at least, there's no proof that ever happened.

I hope you know that I respect you tremendously Santiago -- so please don't take it personally when I say I would prefer not to hash out again. It has taken a dozen threads over several years for me to reach this point of resignation. So let me just say I value the old dorms, despite their appearance, and will be disappointed to see them go.

I hope we do something like this:

    http://www.invisiblestructures.com/grasspave2.html

Could probably get some EPA grant since it's "green"

I think it would be cool if they did the entire parking lots around The Joe with this; the drainage already goes to Lake Reneau, this would just clean up the water some and keep the heat down during the early season games...

I think that they should allow the KA's to go at Hutcheson with their cannon and charge them $100 per shot! There was already one hole put in the back side of it in the 70's!!!! ; )

Well like I said I am glad I was on the uphill side of the 9th, also I didn't have a final till the day after.

On a side note I so miss the Neilson "theater" room lol

Tech already has a product made by this company installed at the Everett street apartments. http://www.invisiblestructures.com/rainstore3.html. I remember seeing the Grasspave while researching the rainstore system a few years ago.
