IMHO, this is a lot of big targets in one place for the "new and improved" Russian/Iranian missiles to target.

“If Israel makes a mistake, we will attack the heart of Tel Aviv from Tehran,” Taqavi, Head of the Policy-Making Council of Iran, said.
“They do not dare to damage our nuclear centers and know very well that any move against the Islamic Republic will make them regret it,” he emphasized.

Dangerous times although we could take these guys out in a nanosecond if Obama gave the word. Hum....wait...as reported earlier Obama is wanting to put our fleets in the far western Asian Pacific instead. He must protect one of his other dear homelands (Indonesia) as well right?

For the second time in less than a year, Iran’s top naval commander has said Iranian Navy vessels will soon be plying the Atlantic Ocean, having made great strides in recent years in expanding its presence beyond Iranian waters.
Iran has also established close ties with Cuba, another potential destination for an Iranian Navy Atlantic voyage.
“The navy has carried out successful activities in open seas, and in the near future we will witness the presence of the navy in the Atlantic Ocean,” the Mehr news agency quoted Sayyari as saying.
I don't pretend to be world news aware or anything. I don't understand who is with or against who anymore. However, it is very easy to see that our pres is making friends and playing nice with the wrong people.
The move to WESTPAC is to counter gamesmanship by China. Much bigger threat than Iran.
I agree when comparing the two. I still don't like the move of the fleet even further west.
Now this is how you handle Iran and saying it in Jerusalem, Israel and at what appears to be the Wailing Wall (Western Wall). Not like Obama and his pussy footing around. Obama hasn't even been to Israel since becoming President; because he totally sides with the Islamic ideas of his childhood on this one.
