20 Raising Cane's Restaurants Coming to San Antonio

Mmmmmm... I miss me some Cane's chicken fingers, and currently here in San Antonio, you can only get them behind security in Terminal A at the airport. That's about to change though, as 3 new locations are opening up later this year. One is on Stone Oak Parkway near Huebner. Another will be on Bandera Road (TX-16) I believe near Loop 1604. A third will be in Schertz, probably near the IH-35/LP-1604 interchange, over by The Forum. Todd Graves said he plans to open up 20 locations in the San Antonio area in the next 5 years. This is awesome news to me, since Chicken Express tries to be like Cane's, but just doesn't measure up. Yeehaw!

Finally got another one in Houston besides the one way out on Westheimer. It is in the Galleria, which is awesome because the food absolutely blows there.

I dunno if I'd say THAT, but I do have a better job, at least salary-wise than I had over there. We went to a Pizza Hut buffet in Boerne last week, and the first thing my wife said upon starting to eat, was "jeez... I REALLY miss Johnny's. This stuff is terrible." Of course, I agreed. I do miss the ol' homeland from time to time, but I'm makin' it over here for now!

Finally got another one in Houston besides the one way out on Westheimer. It is in the Galleria, which is awesome because the food absolutely blows there.

My wife and I actually tried to go to the one out on Westheimer twice and failed. Both times, we weren't thinking and it was some holiday as we happened to be passing through Houston on our way back to San Antonio from Louisiana, and we ventured down to Cane's, only to realize they're closed on pretty much any holiday. I did stop at one in Lafayette in early May this year though.
