If Tech were to get a school of osteopathy, I hope they would discourage the more dubious aspects of the practice. The American Osteopathic Association (AOA) still officially endorses he use of cranial therapy. This "therapy" involves the doctor manipulating cranial bones based on pulses that he/she feels (but no scientific test has verified even exists) to relieve pain [LINK]. I'm sure most osteopaths are smart enough to distance themselves from the practice (just as most chiropractors distance themselves from the certain aspects of their profession), but it is there.
