    $60 million fine

I know that PSU was fined the $60 million b/c that is the gross revenue for the football program every year. But what if this was Tech and we got nailed with that. Would we just get rid of the football team?

We would bulldoze the football stadium if it was us.

Honestly, this sounds like one of those questions your little 8-yr old brother would ask.

So how does this affect their conference mates? How much will it cost them in lost revenues? Do they forfeit Penn State post season revenues for all those years?

Yes, per the B1G penalties levied after the NCAA penalties.

I wonder if any of the Penn State players players will transfer before school starts.

My younger brother is actually 23 so I guess your just speculating that I have an 8 year old brother. Kinda like my question was a hypothetical question.

That is pretty much what is going to happen at Penn State. Look for Pitt and Temple and schools in surrounding states to pick up some good players and there won't be much competition from Penn State recruiting. Pitt should become a power in the ACC.

Top recruits won't sign with Penn State because they won't be able to play for a championship. IMHO, they won't sign with Pitt or Temple for the same reasons. I look for universities far from Happy Valley picking up the state's best recruits. That is already starting to happen.

Yeah, look for the usual suspects...Ohio State, Michigan, Notre Dame, etc. A few might end up at places like Rutgers, Maryland, and West Virginia, but probably not a lot.

That was wrong, support organizations that fight against child abuse.

This publicity move by the NCAA is no different than the federal government getting in the car business. The courts and PA legislature should be meting out the penalties, not an athletic body.
I'm an asshole! What's your excuse?
