Did y'all see that movie on the founding of Mickey D's, starred Michael Keaton as Ray Kroc.

BTW, McDonald's, the corporation, makes practically nothing on the sale of burgers and fries. They do have some company-owned stores, and from those they do generate some income. But the bulk of their income comes from doing something else. McDonald's is the world's largest....real estate investment company.

This is off topic (odd around here, I know), but have any of you read about the ownership structure at Chick Fil-A? It's certainly not a traditional franchise. When you become an operator for them, you certainly give up some of the normal "ownership" rights you would have with something like a McDonald's, but the buy-in costs are incredibly low and the line to get one is incredibly long.

Chick Fil-A customer service culture and the training of their employees is unmatched. I think THAT is what makes their fast food taste better.

The few in Massachusetts are an exception to the customer service culture.

Can't believe two justices voted against the majority ruling. They were obviously more concerned with social justice than the constitution (not their job), and don't belong on the court.

Had this been upheld, I suspect the next "cake" instance would be a bunch of neo nazis demanding a Jewish run bakery bake them a cake in the shape of a swastika with "6 million" inscribed on it to celebrate the anniversary of the opening of Auschwitz concentration camp. Under the constitution I believe they have the right to say "#&^% off"! That's not to say they couldn't buy a nice star of David cake for their festival.
