I know that this doesn't belong in the football section but I thought that this was important enough to warrant spreading to a well read board. If anyone in the area could help out I think that the family would appreciate it.

There is a facebook group a friend of mine invited me to that has got about 30-40 people so far for a counter picket. The family definitely will not be without support.

WBC is no more a Bible/Christian based believing Baptist church than I am a Muslim. They are terrible.

When they were in Brandon, a few guys here accidently parked behind their vehicles at the hotels so they couldn't get out. When they called to have the truck towed, all of the police and wrecker services were out paying respects to a fallen hero.
That kind of stuff gives me hope that there are still people who love this country, who still pledge allegiance to the flag, and who believe in patriotism. Thanks for sharing that!

Haha, good one. When taken in the context of Bulldogs supporting a fallen soldier, I am definitely proud to be an American bulldog. But, I'm okay with an English mascot (even though we declared our independence 236 years ago and threw the Brits out.)
