Dawg06 is my favorite poster on this entire website. So I will take that "source" from him pretty seriously. I mean hell, the tickets have to be over 25k sold by now. Wouldn't you think?

27K sounds about right. And they'll sell another 10K over the next 3 weeks leading up to game day. Throw in another 7K walk ups at the gate, and we should have 44K to 45K in attendance.

In 1999 we had 42K for aTm in S'port. That was composed of about 25K Tech fans, 15K aTm fans and 2K neutral fans.

I think we'll do a little better this time overall. So yeah, 45K seems like a very good estimate.

Those 15K aTm fans looked more like 30K. Wasn't much of a homefield advantage if I remember correctly. The aTm crowd certainly won the fan contest. Maybe this year Dawg fans will step it up.

I agree with BruceWillisDawg-both with his view of attendance and how he viewed crowd involvement in 1999-we better be prepared to step it up. We are getting better with Fan Involvement at our games. As you will see, A&M will take it to a whole different level with their "12th" Man involvement.
