He draws at least the minimum of $5,600 per week.
He cannot play on Sundays as a member of the practice squad, but can if he joins the active roster.
He is a free agent and can be signed by any NFL team, but only to their active roster.

All correct except Broha is not on the 53 man roster. He is on the 8 man practice squad.

I agree. They are obviously keeping him on the practice squad because they believe it's highly probable he'll end up on their roster before the season is over. So they want him getting reps.

That is pretty good, but they do a little more than just workout. They have to practice just as hard as the 53 do in order to stay on the practice squad

Sure hope Broha is still getting some of the perks of being a member of the "team". After taxes and rent in NYC, that money is gone.

$22,400 a month is mousenuts in this league. Broha should consider this nothing more than an opportunity to showcase his talents over a longer period of time, and an opportunity to nail down a real job with some NFL team. He's a smart kid. I'm sure he's totally focused right now. I wish him the best!!!

Practice squad is not a death sentence. Remember Tramon Williams was originally on the Texans practice squad before he became the top corner for the Packers. And honestly it isn't the end of the world to make almost 6 figures for 4 months out of the year, especially for a kid fresh out of college.

I can see the Jags calling soon. They are paper thin at end and tend to like Tech players. I'm sure many other teams are in that position too though.

Broha has been cut by the Giants. I hope that he gets a chance with another team. The Giants have a lot of problems so I guess they felt they have bigger needs than at DE. http://www.giants.com/team/transactions.html
