Is this the toughest OOC schedule Techsters have ever had?
Not even close....this wouldn't break the top 10 toughest schedules in history. Before conference affiliation Tech always played at least 10-15 games against ranked teams.Originally Posted by rebelboi

I grew up thinking Tenn was across town from Tech because we played them so much lol
We used to have some years home and home with some of these teams
Southern Cal, Old Dominion, Stephen F Austin, Wayland Baptist, LSU, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee and UCLA.
Then we would head to Hawaii to play in some tournaments and face Tenn again over there along with other big teams.
While this is not the toughest ever I will say that this is sending a message to the Lady Techsters, you better be ready or your gonna get your butts kicked. I would say that Spoon has laid down the challenge and the expectations that they are playing the schedule for RPI ranking and setting up for NCAA tournament run. This is also a schedule that sits them up to have some success in the tournament.
We are going to grow up a LOT in our first few games. We are capable of really doing something special this year in bringing this program back.
Definitely a schedule UPGRADE from the past few years.
Less than 12 weeks until we get to see our TECHSTERS in action on November 4. That'll be an active weekend, with the football Dogs playing at home Nov 3 and the Techsters Nov 4. Oh yeah, and Haughton High at home Nov 2. What a cool weekend!!!
