Will beer be sold at the A&M game since it is in Indy Stadium?
I've had some people ask. Lord, I hope this isn't another S'port/Bossier excuse to not attend a game.

It always has in the past, don't know why this would be any different.
Yes. Alcohol can't be sold at games that are held on NCAA (i.e. university-owned) property. Indy Stadium is owned by the City of Shreveport, and they will sell beer.
NCAA isn't the one stopping alchohol from being sold at Tech games.
Sell it on the east side. East side = party side. West side = family side.
Beer at Tech! I'll have to ponder that for a while...

Exactly. I walk into the stadium with a "buzz" then I leave at halftime to chug a few more. Why not charge $6-7 per beer and make a huge profit? ULL sells beer at their games.
That is incorrect.
The NCAA will not allow alcohol to be sold to the general public at games it administers, IE championship games such as Division 1 Basketball playoffs or FCS playoffs. Beer being sold to the general public in university stadiums is up to two groups: the conference the university belongs to and then the individual school. The SEC does not allow alcohol to be sold to the general public at its stadiums, I can't say what other conferences do. Club seats etc. are not a part of this restriction as they skirt around the rules a bit.

Nationally, the NCAA, with the exception of its championships, has no rule preventing schools from selling alcohol at sports events. Among the biggest conferences, the Southeastern Conference has rules prohibiting public alcohol sales at its members’ stadiums, but other conferences do not.
All told, 21 out of 120 Football Bowl Subdivision schools sell beer to the public at their stadiums, according to research by SportsBusiness Journal. Eleven of those schools play at university-owned stadiums.
They could use the extra profit for sprucing up the latrines as they might be used a little more.
