I think they are mixing up ULL and Tech. No way ULL will be half as good as Tech.
i dont know what cbs has against us, but in almost everything they have published this summer has had us rated very low. Well I guess they are in for a newsflash when the season starts!
So basically since no games have been played season to date this is based on...??? More than likely it's a combination of the vegas line for the first game plus the SOS, which ours is bad 118. Since it's a computer formula based on season performance preseason is basically like dividing by zero...The CBSSports.com 124 rankings are produced by Jerry Palm's own computer formula. They measure how a team has performed against its schedule this season to date, including game location. Margin of victory is a consideration, to a degree. The date the game was played, the name on the front of the jersey, the name on the front of the opponents' jerseys, conference affiliation and what a team did last year are not factors.
Based on the criteria stated, no conference affiliation, no names on jerseys, etc... are we also behind Arkansas-Monticello and Louisiana College?
