If this thing gets bigger and the future tracks are correct could this thing get postponed? If it does both TECH and A/M have a mutual open date in October. I think that that would knock Indy Stadium out of the running but somebody with some connections might check that. Considering the perceived lack of ticket sales for Shreveport what are the chances that the future game be moved to The Joe?

FWIW word on the A&M premium boards is that the two schools have seriously discussed moving the game to the Cotton Bowl in Dallas and making all seats general admission.

If Isaac keeps tracking further west, Shreveport and Bossier City could take a rough hit from the storm sometime Thursday. If the storm does hit on Thursday and causes siginificant damage and power outages, the Tech-A&M game probably wouldn't be held on that weekend due to the Port City Classic scheduled for Saturday.
FWIW, Texas A&M and Louisiana Tech do have a bye week on October 13th. That could be the simplest, though not ideal, solution for both teams if the game has to be moved as a result of Isaac.

If A&M doesn't want to reschedule it for another weekend, we should insist that it be moved to Ruston for Saturday. NOT TO DALLAS, it is our home game. Weather issues would be over by Friday, they could travel up and play on Saturday.
Last year's game at S. Miss was played as a tropical storm moved right over Hattisburg. Doubt it will be postponed.
unless the stadium lost lights it will be played and people will either get wet or go home. I will get rained on just like at a ton of other games. It will not be moved to the cotton bowl.

Unfortunately, FEMA takes priority, especially if the NOLA mayor and Jindal push those evacuations north, beginning Monday. Shreveport, Ruston and Monroe are prime evacuation centers.
I mean,heck, Jim Cantore is already stationed in New Orleans. Wonder why?

I wasn't worried about the weather either but as as Dawgpix points out- the evacuation process and mobilization of resources will probably trump a thurs night football game GUARANTEED to clog 1-20 traffic.

I guess we will just have to pluck that chicken when we get to it. May not come to that at all.
