We have a great administration! A really tough call to make, not popular... but the right call. The track now has the storm going right up I-49 hitting Shreveport Thursday evening. Even if the storm had travelled further east after landing it still would be the right call. The players families, Tech students, and Louisianians are dealing with major problems right now. Traveling to the game for anyone over much distance would be unsafe if not impossible. Great job doing research and really working to reach the right decision.

I agree with all what you just said, also playing in those kind of conditions players on both sides would get injuries far beyond the normal game conditions.

Definitely the right call. I never doubted that it was the right call, even if Shreveport gets "lucky" and avoids most of the Hurricane residual.


By the way, this postponement is getting a ton of media coverage on ESPN today.

Got the best information possible and made the call soon enough for many to make alternative arrangements, etc before they came here. No matter what conditions we get Thursday night, this was the way to do it.
