I know that, I meant Baylor being a Baptist school
SMU is prolly the de facto ND for Methodist since the HQ for the United Methodist is in Dallas. Baylor is the biggest Baptist Football school right? It reminds me of an old SWC joke involving the Messiah siting in the stands. I don't quite remember the punchline.
Brown is a Baptist Ivy school. I know. They're not FBS, but both Joe Pa and his replacment played football there.
As a Baptist, I've always had a problem with Wake Forest's (another Baptist university) mascot. Maybe I just don't get it.
Wake used to be the Baptists until the Demon Deacons informally and then formally took over. It morphed kinda like the usl bulldogs became the ull ragin cajuns.
