Tech 41 Rice 38
Tech 41 Rice 38
I predict a lot of Bulldog fans in attendance...eager to see true High Octane at work.

Ya know we were playing away from the friendly confines of Joe Aillet. It was our first game against a team that had something to prove...
LTU 52
Rice 20
LaTech 39
Rice 24
Does Rice still play the option? I need to go to the scouting report and learn more about them. Beating Kansas at Kansas was a tough job. The option has given us fits in the past, but that was with a different coach. I think we clean up our defense this week and come away with a 43 - 21 win with a comfortable lead in the second half.
Okay, just read a little more on them. We should be able to stop them defensively. We will make adjustments and deal with the option this time. Our offense is WAY too powerful for them to overcome. We would have killed Kansas. I hold by my prediction above.
Prediction?
Fun!
No matter the final score, I predict it'll be great to see the Dawgs playing in Aillet again! Haven't seen that since the NMSU game last year. And, that's been too long. I'll be on the east side, South 40ish, standing the whole game!
Oh...as for a prediction, it'll be like those old WAC shoot-outs: Tech 42 Rice 38
Houston game second verse, but a little closer: 48 - 45 TECH
Wow.....this game could step out of the "Twilight Zone". We could trounce them, or Rice could become the Rice team that virtually slaughtered us in 2003 with a zillion yards rushing, or the Rice that came back from being down 35-0 at halftime in 2001 to send us into overtime 35-35! Both games were at JAS.
I do predict, however, that we take care of business this time:
Dawgs 38
Starchy Grains 27
