When I read the article, I immediately thought of you LFR. Why wasn't Spangler pissed, his defense is ranked at the bottom of the barrel.
Even though us "real" football fans aren't happy because of the shoddy defense, this team is still a lot of fun to watch. As long as we win....

No need contemplate that scenario, but consider this one. IF (yes, I said "if") our defense continues unimproved, it will take fortunate circumstances for us to be 8-4. I would expect 7-5.

Was Spangler a moron last year? I just don't think we the players. Schemes matter little when you don't have the players to run them.
Ok, I'll back off from moron and say that every year that I've observed him he has been, at best, ineffective. Last year we had key players at key positions that individually created a large number of turnovers based on their individual abilities. But if you look at schemes and game-time adjustments, you get an entirely different picture; or at least I do.
