    Please note that the current roster has 37 players listed and the NCAA only allows a maximum of 35 players to be on the active roster on opening day. Simoneaux will undoubtably redshirt at least a few players before the season starts. How many remains to be seen.

    Actually...35 is the most you can have on the roster including redshirts, redshirts count as roster spots. He has to cut 2 more real soon

    If I'm not mistaken, only a scholarship redshirt counts towards the 35 roster count, a walk-on redshirt does not.
