I saw exactly what I was looking for. The offense put them in some tought spots. I give them a C on those efforts. I give them a B overall. They were on the field an aweful lot and played very well. Tackling they got a D. Creating turnovers they got an A. Special teams would get an F if it were not for Ryan Allen. C-for them. Good job GATA.Originally Posted by DQDawg

Much better job on defense. Except for a couple of bone head mistakes this was a complete game by offense and defense.
They showed up, but I'm still concerned about our tackling. Several times we have 3 or 4 missed tackles, some that would be for losses and end up being first down runs or passes. We are getting pressure but not finishing on the plays and the fact that Illinois isn't a pass heavy team really helps us as that is really our weakness.
