Here ya go.
You need an Xbox live subscription and your internet provider needs to be supported by espn3.com. After that you're golden.
I checked on the provider list for Ruston and Direct TV is not one of them. I have Suddenlink internet and will try to watch it on espn3. Will that work??
Ok ESPN I still have access to ESPN3 but not WatchESPN, you only need ESPN3 access to watch this game. It's kind of confusing only 4 providers have WatchESPN, which seems to be a new app/website that will allow access to all ESPN media (live & archived). ESPN3 seems to be Live (or scheduled replay) web exclusive sporting events only
(i.e. if it was on ESPN tv network and ESPN3 you have to have WatchESPN to see the web content)
Thanks, I figued out the subscription part. I have comcast. Not sure about the Xbox subscription. I know the kiddos watch movies through it all the time. I suppose NetFlix is another subscription we are paying for. I think I'll just make sure I have the correct cable to hook directly to one of our laptops.
Thanks for the clarification.
This is way too confusing for a redneck like me. Maybe it will work out for me. If not I will listen to Dave on the radio with no video.
Step 1: Determine your internet provider.
Step 2: Check to see if they are on this list.
Step 3: Is your provider on that list? Congratulations, you can watch the game.
Maddawg. Just make sure you have the ESPN app downloaded to your X-Box and you should be fine.
