Our defense is built like the old levie system in New Orleans. 625 yards to a below avg offense. We will have to score more than 45 to beat aTm and hope help otherwise. If our offense has an off night against them we will get blown out. Even before the injuries to Randle and Ellis, Virginia's QB was completing passes at will. Spangler's YOGA defense, flexible in every direction, sux.

Hopefully our offense doesnt have a bad night the remainder of the year.

I'm with you, Dirtydawg. But TechDAG is right. There are people on this board that would complain if the DAWGS went undefeated with the schedule below and narrowest margin of victory was 17 points.

But I would say this is also the area we need to improve. We've got the 2 minute drive down. We will not be our best until we learn to run an offense like we did to open the 3rd qtr. Without looking at stats, I would say that was the longest drive in terms of time this season. We need 3 or 4 of those drives a game. And if we can work 2 of those drives into the 4th qtr then this game is a blowout.

Agreed, I think it is pretty obvious our coaches have been better than the oppositions coaches every game. No one is perfect but we get more than we pay for compared to most everyone else.
