Larry Hagman, better known for his character J.R. Ewing on Dallas, died earlier today at a Dallas hospital due to complications of cancer.
I love a good bad guy, and he was the best of them all.

Very sad. Dallas (the tv show) was really big when I graduated from Tech and moved to Dallas (the city) to start my first job. I remember seeing the Dallas skyline as I drove in and thinking of the intro to the TV show as I hummed the Dallas theme song.
He was also a good good guy actor.
Barbara Eden was HOT!

True on both counts. It's interesting looking back to see Hagman play a man of impeccable integrity like Major Nelson and then play perhaps the most despicable immoral TV villain of all time in J.R. Ewing.
Probably one of the best scenes ever of the show Dallas and one of the best J.R. Ewing moments.
