But he gives up distance by kicking it higher. His avg and net are lower than the others with very few 50plus.

I think you have to go all the way back to David Lee to name a Tech punter who was as good or better than Ryan Allen.

David Lee was a good one! Played for the Baltimore Colts.
If memory serves me right, I believe he also was the place kicker at Tech. I think he played tight end. That was during the Billy Laird, Robert Brunet era.
I met Ryan Allen's dad at the SJSU game. He's a really nice guy and they are just as proud of Ryan as we are.
