SD Turns Down Offer from UK?

Just got a text from friend close to Kentucky program and he is saying Coach Dykes turned down interest from UK, has anyone else heard this??

Just saw a Tweet saying the same thing. From BleedTechBlue: RT @KyleTucker_CJ: Per a source inside UK athletics, Butch Jones, Sonny Dykes and Mark Stoops have all said "no thanks" to Kentucky.

I think that's a smart move. 90% of people in his position would probably jump at that. (unless they believe they can negotiate a better job).

The rumor I heard was that Kentucky inquired concerning whether they should put SD's name on the list of potential candidates. SD said TF must be part of a package. Kentucky said you must be joking! That was that.

Supposedly Kentucky officials still fume regarding whatever TF said in his book and said they'd rather quit football altogether than have TF back on campus. All of this is just my hearsay mind you.

Have your read his book? He wouldn't go back there even if they would have him IMO. If they are fuming it's because they were cheating like SOB's and he wouldn't go along with the lies or the cheats. Good on him.

Kentucky is a great place to go and flush your coaching career down the drain.
The single roughest league in all of College Football.
The Doormat program in that league.
A shallow recruiting pool.
Expectations that far outdistance reality.

Any successful coach would be an absolute fool to take that job.
