Vandals to the Sun Belt?

A week ago, the Vandals' future in the FBS appeared to be hopeless. Will Idaho be the biggest winner in all this mess?

It looks like the Belch will be down to only 7 members with football teams:
- LA-Lafayette
- LA-Monroe
- TSU-San Marcos
- Troy State
- Arky State
- GA State
- South AL

To be officially recognized by the NCAA as a football-sponsoring conference, the Belch would need an 8th football program.

Will Mr. Peanut invite Idaho as a football-only member, or will he raid the FCS again?

Reminder: Idaho will join the Big Sky for non-football sports.

I could see Idaho getting an FBO invite. But I think the Belch has their eye on appy state, lamar, georgia southern, or sam houston state.

I definitely think the Belt will invite NMSU (if available) and Idaho.
