It is what it is and Northeast is still Northeast. They are enjoying the moment of perceived superiority to Tech, but the fact of the matter is we are Louisiana Tech and have always been better than Northeast (and the rest of the University of Louisiana System institutions) and will always be better than Northeast.
Why would they brag about being second choice? Since we know that ESPN didn't want a local match up, it was either us or them and we got the call first.
That is rather funny to me.
