I dunno. The article actually deflates my thoughts on the likelihood of MWC expanding. If the UNR guy is being straight, it sounds like they're mostly going to talk and that the UTEP/Tulsa rumors are mostly smoke.

I think it'd be a good idea to try to grab two, though, if they can. That would put them at 12 and would allow them to wait and see if the Big East implodes. If it does, they get BSU/SDSU and have a good shot at UH/SMU.

Then the MWC is basically the same as the 1990s WAC. Funny how all of this might come full circle again.
