It never made any sense for either Boise or SDSU to be in the BE even when Louisville & Rutgers were there

The BE will survive by continuing to pick off the cream of C-USA. We ain't the cream.
I want to be apart of or even follow the regional, well known, bigger universities right into their same conference. Period! The BE or MWC could still be it. We shall see what happens to CUSA in the near future. I want to be in one of the current conferences (MWC and/or BE) or an unnamed one plus add USM, Tulsa and Rice. I really want nothing to do with the ex belch schools thank you.

Yep, and the truth is that NO ONE knows what this is going to look like a year from now. Honestly, right now, we can NOT accurately say anything is good or bad for Tech at this time. Could be that we end up in a depleted CUSA, picked for the BE with some good regional schools that we want to be with, or in MWC. We just don't know yet.
This. The Big East will not die, and we aren't on their radar.
To those rooting for the demise of the Big East -- Be careful what you wish for.
Having a goal is one thing, but the reality of our situation is another.
If there is any truth to this, I hope both conferences tell BSU where they can shove it. Neither of them should want anything to do with this. I'm not going to say that we should cut off our nose to spite our face, but I don't want into whichever conference caves.

And we look around in a few years and find ourselves in the C-USBC. Still time to change things, but I do not like the way this is falling.
