The five 4A "select" schools are now pushing to join the 3A bracket instead of the 5A bracket or any other combination.

It passed. The five 4A "select" schools will compete in the 3A bracket. This means there will be 9 football state champions next season.

The select schools just need to form their own league and get it over with. They could leave LHSAA in the dust.

God I hope not. They ought to name this the "5A Lite" division. What a crock.

Good luck to Parkway winning 4 weeks in a row on the road just to get to the finals. Parkway cannot host any 2013 playoff games due to the shenanigans its prinipal pulled during the 2012 playoffs.

Okay. Now, '06 please put up a chart which involves West Monroe and its division mates. Isn't that all that matters?

Guice, Vidrine, Shows, and the Caddo/Bossier Nazis got rid of the ones they wanted to be rid of. All is well now.

BTW, have you notice the Neville Charter deal is "on hold" for now?

But, please translate. I always thought West Monroe was a "select" school.

Yes, how convenient of the new Monroe Supt. to encourage the Monroe School Board to take the Neville Charter (site of his former principalship) off the table?

I haven't seen an updated "non-select" breakdown yet from these meetings. The Advocate published those "select" divisions yesterday.
