    Select Divisions

Not sure this right place to post, but what are your thoughts about the new select divisions rule in high school football?

All high school sports should go under the sports folder of the general sports forum.

    Re: Select Divisions

The better way to handle this would have been to require the "select" schools to not offer any scholarships to sports participants. (i.e. only those paying full tutition can play). It would affect the Catholic schools the most (no more Warrick Dunns). But it would end the "recruiting" which is what the public schools complain about. Public schools have a lot of kids with addresses in trailers they don't live in also.
