One of the most amazing things about this team is you never know who is going to step up on any given night. You can look at it as inconsistency in individual players or you can look at it as the power of having a deep team. Nine players are averaging more than 10 minutes a game. Two others are just under 10 with Massey averaging 9.6 minutes and Lewis clocking 9.4 minutes per game.

Trends - C.J. scored in double figures in 7 of first 8 games; McNeail 6 of last 9; Freshman Hamilton has five games since conference play in which he has scored double figures. The two juco transfers, Anderson and J. Johnson, have also had their high point games since conference play started. Still waiting on our other Sophomore, Massey, to click but I believe it will happen soon; I have been told that he has been dealing with some physical issues.

No surprise that our offense almost always comes from the guard/small forward position. Of the 54 double figure performances, 47 have come from players who will be returning next year.

Bottom line, the numbers support the conventional wisdom on this team. Young, deep and guard oriented.
