Why Benson cannot save the Belch

appstatenation.com sent a FOIA request to App State and Ga Southern for documents related to expansion. it revealed some very interesting information. this pdf lists some financials of the candidates and current belch schools:

    http://www.appstatenation.com/wp-con...Fact-Sheet.pdf

based on the e-mails it looks like Benson wants App State and Ga Southern to be his next members of the belch. based on the economic data presented Ga Southern is the worst candidate for expansion up to 1A. their athletic budget is similar to LaMo's. and the Warthogs have proven that you just cannot be competitive at the 1A level with a budget that small.

but that is who Benson wants...

I went to the website noted at the bottom of that page (Equity in Athletics). It is a government site and all information is free.

The numbers for Louisiana Tech are very, very similar to the numbers for South Alabama. We have improved, but we still have some work to do in that department.

The Equity in Athletics figures have proven time and again to not be reliable for comparisons between schools. The EIA reports show things much differently from the NCAA Agreed Upon Procedures reports that compare apples to apples.

Is there a website that will show those numbers, or allow a user to compare different schools? Digging through a bunch of individual reports is a little time-consuming.

Basketball State has it for 2011 MBB and WBB expenses. I can't recall a website that lists football expenditures by school.
