Big jump tonight in White's 61st game as head coach. Moves from 4th to 2nd.
If you are ahead of Tommy Joe, you are doing pretty good.

Will have to do some checking. Would guess Crowley, then Russo, Eagles and Robertson will be pretty close to each other.

Number of Regular Season Championships by TECH coaches:

    Cecil Crowley 7
    Scotty Robertson 3
    T J Eagles 2
    Robert Wynn 2
    Jerry Loyd 2
    Andy Russo 1
    Keith Richard 1
    Emmett Hendricks 1
    Hal Lee 1

As I suspected Crowley leads way because of the length of his tenure. The surprise is Russo with only one; I had forgotten how good Lamar was during that time frame. Again Loyd is a little deceptive because of how stocked Tommy Joe left him. Tommy Joe was the critical element in 5 championships over an 8 year span.

Thanks for that "conference championship" info. When you look at that list, you realize how important TJ Eagles was to LA Tech basketball.

    Re: Coaching Records

With the win tonight, the 2012-2013 Bulldawgs have recorded the second most wins by a TECH team ever with a current record of 27-6..

Russo's 1983-1984 team went 26-7. They then followed it up with the best record ever, going 29-3 in 1984-1985.

I would be happy with a 30 win season next year. Of course we COULD just go ahead and win 30 THIS year.
