If you are even in Chapel Hill, NC, one of the best restaurants/sports bars around is the "Four Corners" restaurant, named for Dean Smith's Four Corners offense, of course. It's right on Franklin St (their Main St), across the street from the UNC campus.

Here is a summary of the game I remember seeing on TV in 1973, which was consecutive win Number 54 in UCLA's 88-game win streak:

    Win 54:
    Jan. 5, 1973: 64-38 vs. Oregon:
The Bruins led just 18-14 at the half in a slowdown match before pulling away with a three-guard lineup (Lee, Hollyfield and Pete Trgovich), scoring 46 in the second half.

And I remember Notre Dame ending UCLA's streak...71-70 ( I think), scoring the final 12 pts of the game. Gary Bradshaw??? No, that's not it.... Anyway, a ND guard hit the game-winner in the closing seconds. Hate that my memory has faded. Ah, what were we discussing.....? I forget Ah! Gary Brocaw! maybe not..

    DRemembering U.C.L.A. Streak’s End

Nearly 37 years later, Dwight Clay still keeps a video disc in his briefcase. Just in case. Just so he can prove to doubters that he indeed was the Notre Dame guard whose decisive shot stirred a 71-70 upset that broke U.C.L.A.’s 88-game winning streak on Jan. 19, 1974.

    wight Clay! Sheesh..

Please don't pretend that it had anything to do with the time slots or that fact that there is a set audience who watches WBB no matter what. Do I need to explain who these people are?

I realize ESPN2 will always have better ratings than ESPNU, and our game was really late, especially for the east coast. I don't know the demographic breakdown either. But I'm not sharing the link for a reason. I probably should've posted those numbers on the HOF BoaRD.
