Brian Rike released
I don't know if anyone has posted this but I read that former Bulldog Brian Rike was released by the Colorado Rockies on 3-27-13. We really enjoyed watching him play at Tech and then in AA Tulsa when he played the Frisco Roughriders. We sure wish him well.
He is not on any roster that I can find, so I guess he's done with playing baseball. I wish he had made it to the Bigs, but it is such a longshot for anyone to do so. He played some great baseball here and with his minor league teams. He was a tremendous Bulldog. I wish him much success in whatever he does now.
