Coach White thought he had a deal to play at Alabama, but Bama canceled it.

Oklahoma has been the only team to agree to host LaTech in a money game.

Coach White is still looking for one more guarantee game, but Coach White is having trouble finding any takers.

Coach White can't get anybody to come play us in Ruston.

He tried to put a tournament together in Bossier with NWST, but they couldn't find a date that worked.

Sounds like our AD has given the green light and responsibility to our HC to set his own sked. Our HC just got a heck of a raise. Now he needs to earn part of his money by setting things up for money and success. No more, "they are scared" talk from our HC please.

I thought our basketball coaches have always set their own schedules. I seem to remember a discussion about that when Richard was the HC.

Richard was never allowed to do all he wanted to do. He tried to work some deals for some home games in Ruston that our AD wouldn't sign off on.

I'm sure not many good programs are chomping at the bit to play us in Ruston. That said, teams (we'd like to emulate) like Wichita State, FGCU, New Mexico, etc.,... are some we should target. Since we got A&M last year, I'd like to see us face Baylor.
