A friend of mine gave me AC: Brotherhood. Is it ok to start the series here, or should I find the first games to understand the game??

Not sure about that one. I got AC III for Christmas as my first on I've played in the series and It's pretty easy to pick up without playing the others.

The story might be a little confusing but otherwise it is pretty intuitive in teaching you the basics.

game play wise your fine. Story wise you are right in the middle of it.

Thanks. I have some SPD guys that are going to loan me the other games. They said that part 1 was terrible and to skip it.

I was wondering the same. I've heard that the First AC was the best one. Less linear, more gameplay.

Never played the whole thing, but to call it terrible is just wrong. I have never heard anyone call the first on a bad one.
